Vaginismus is a sexual dysfunction problem that is encountered all around the world as well as in Turkey. This problem, which arises from different causes, has different types.

Women with the vaginismus problem may suffer from acute pain during sexual intercourse and most of the time a sexual intercourse may not be possible at all.
Dyspareunia is a pathology that manifests itself with the feelings of pain, hurts and aches, during sexual intercourse, at the vaginal entrance or at the groin area.
Vulva is the name of the external genitalia. Vestibulum is the section between the vagina and the vulva, so it means the “transition area”.
