Dr. Eserdag has specialized in sexual medicine as well as obstetrics and gynecology for the last 24 years and is one of the pioneers of aesthetic gynecology in Europe. He’s totally dedicated to cosmetic gynecology and sexual medicine, and has the clinics in different cities in Turkey (in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir).
He was born in Bursa in 1969 and after completing his primary and secondary education in Manisa, he graduated from Izmir Science High School in 1986. After graduating from the Medical School of Dokuz Eylül University, he finished his residency program in Ankara Zekai Tahir Burak Women's Health Educational and Research Hospital, the largest educational maternal hospital in Turkey.
In 2014, Dr. Eserdag passed the board exam organized by the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) and the European Federation of Sexology (EFS) to become Turkey's one of first “Fellow of European Committee of Sexual Medicine” (FECSM) gynecologists.
In 2015, he established the “HERA Vaginismus Treatment, Education and Research Association”, the first national non-governmental organization in the field of vaginismus. He trained physicians and health professionals within the scope of this association.
Dr. Eserdag became a senior faculty member at ECAMS (European College of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery) based in Ireland in 2015. Between 2015 and 2017, he gave hands-on genital aesthetics courses in Istanbul and Vienna.
In 2017, Dr. Eserdag established his own international society as “International Society of Aesthetic Genital Surgery and Sexology (ISAGSS)” which is the unique society combining aesthetic genital operations to sexual medicine, and still goes on the training activities on cosmetic gynecology under this new and dynamic society. In this association within the scope, he gave hands on aesthetic and functional genital surgery trainings in Turkey, Northern Cyprus, India, UAE, Azerbaijan, Philippines and Indonesia, provided one to one training of more than 1000 physicians so far.
In 2018 and 2019, he organized two International congresses as RAGSS (Reconstructive Aesthetic Genital Surgery and Sexology) in Istanbul, and draw attention globally.
He is the inventor of the techniques of “Inverted-Y Plasty procedure in clitoral hoodoplasty operations” and “Vestibulo-Introital Tightening Technique (VITT)” in the literature. Through his own pioneering work, artistic skill and focus, he has refined and modified several techniques in order to offer to his patients the most effective treatments and the most beautiful results.
Many national and international studies of him on vaginismus have also been published in peer-reviewed journals. In 2020, he published the book “Cinsel Tıp ve Genital Estetik (Sexual Medicine and Genital Aesthetics)”, which he shared the editorship with two other colleagues.
In 2021, he published the book “Female Aesthetic and Functional Genital Surgery”. This book is the first book published in Turkey specifically in the genital aesthetics field, raised to much global interest, and after two months it’s been translated into the English. In 2023, 2nd edition of this book printed out by Springer bookstore.
Dr. Eserdag established his renowned four clinics in three big cities (İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir) of Turkey as “Hera Clinics”, which attracts thousands of patients every year from all over the world.
In his clinics with his professional team, more than 10.000 patients of sexual dysfunctions involving mostly vaginismus and dyspareunia, and also sexual desire, arousal, orgasmic problems have been treated since 2002.
His is also offering the full range of procedures in cosmetic genital surgery, from labiaplasty and vaginoplasty to complex laser surgeries and non-surgical treatments with carbon dioxide lasers, radiofrequency energy sources, genital PRP, HA fillers and SVF injections.
He’s performed more than 7500 patients’ different kinds of genital operations since 2000, not only for aesthetic but also for different functional and regenerative purposes.
Now he’s the director of these four clinics and accepts the patients in his private clinic in Istanbul. At the same time, he continues giving lectures and trainings within the scope of the ISAGSS, and has been invited to many national and international congresses as trainer, speaker or chairman.
